Terms & conditions

The terms that apply to customers, activity partners and accommodation hosts using Blue Paphos.

Last updated: 25 September 2026

Customer booking terms

These terms apply to visitors booking tours and experiences through Blue Paphos.

Customer terms — 1. Who we are

Blue Paphos Experiences lists and arranges bookings for tours and activities operated by independent, licensed providers based in and around Paphos, Cyprus. We act as a booking agent for those operators.

Customer terms — 2. Bookings

A booking is confirmed when a booking reference is issued. You are responsible for the accuracy of the names, dates, guest numbers and contact details you provide.

Capacity is limited per departure and is allocated in real time. Availability shown on the site reflects remaining places at the moment of viewing.

Customer terms — 3. Prices and payment

Prices are quoted per person in euro and include the items listed under “What's included” on each experience page. Optional extras, gratuities and personal spending are excluded.

Child pricing applies within the age range stated on each experience. Proof of age may be requested at check-in.

Customer terms — 4. Cancellations and changes

Cancellations, refunds and date changes are governed by our cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms.

We may amend an itinerary where safety, weather or access conditions require it, keeping as close as reasonably possible to the advertised experience.

Customer terms — 5. Your responsibilities

You must follow all safety instructions given by guides, skippers and stable staff, and declare any medical condition, pregnancy or mobility limitation that may affect participation.

Operators may refuse participation, without refund, to anyone who is intoxicated, behaves unsafely or misrepresents their health or age.

Customer terms — 6. Liability

Operators hold the public liability insurance and licences required under Cypriot law. We are not liable for loss, injury or damage arising from an operator's acts or omissions beyond our role as booking agent.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Personal travel insurance covering activity participation is strongly recommended.

Customer terms — 7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Cyprus, and the Cypriot courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

Partner terms & conditions

These terms apply to local tour and activity providers listing experiences and accepting bookings through Blue Paphos.

Partner terms — 1. Scope and relationship

Blue Paphos Experiences operates a booking and marketing platform that connects customers with independent local experience providers. When a customer books an experience, the contract for operating and delivering that experience is between the customer and the Partner.

The Partner remains an independent business. Nothing in these terms creates an employment relationship, partnership, joint venture or authority for either party to bind the other, except for Blue Paphos's limited authority to advertise experiences, accept bookings and collect agreed online payments as booking agent.

Partner terms — 2. Eligibility, licences and insurance

The Partner confirms that it is legally entitled to provide every listed experience and will maintain all registrations, commercial licences, operating permits, vehicle or vessel inspections, guide qualifications and other approvals required by the Republic of Cyprus.

The Partner must maintain adequate commercial public liability insurance and any specialist cover required for its activities, staff, vehicles, vessels, animals and participants. Evidence of valid licences and insurance must be supplied promptly when requested.

The Partner must notify Blue Paphos immediately if any required licence, permit, certification or insurance expires, is suspended or is withdrawn. Affected listings may be paused without notice until satisfactory evidence is provided.

Partner terms — 3. Listings, prices and content

The Partner is responsible for keeping its experience descriptions, prices, durations, meeting points, age limits, accessibility information, inclusions, exclusions and safety requirements complete and accurate.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, prices displayed through Blue Paphos must be no higher than the Partner's equivalent direct public or walk-in price for the same experience, date and inclusions.

The Partner grants Blue Paphos a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use its trading name, logos, descriptions, photographs and supplied media for listing, marketing and promoting the Partner's experiences. The Partner confirms it owns or has permission to supply that content and that it does not infringe another person's rights.

Partner terms — 4. Deposits, balances and commercial terms

Blue Paphos may collect an online deposit from the customer to secure a booking. Unless a different arrangement has been agreed in writing, the customer pays the remaining balance directly to the Partner before or on the day of the experience by the payment methods the Partner accepts.

The deposit, fees, commission or other commercial rate applying to the Partner is the rate separately agreed with Blue Paphos and shown in the Partner account or written commercial agreement. Blue Paphos may not change an agreed rate retrospectively for a confirmed booking.

Each party is responsible for its own taxes, accounting records and statutory reporting. The Partner must issue any receipt or tax invoice required for amounts paid directly to it.

Partner terms — 5. Availability and confirmed bookings

The Partner must keep capacity, operating dates, departure times, blackout dates and booking rules accurate in the Partner Portal. Availability offered through the platform must represent places the Partner can genuinely fulfil.

The Partner must honour every confirmed booking and provide the advertised experience at the confirmed price. If fulfilment becomes impossible, the Partner must notify Blue Paphos and the customer immediately, give a clear reason and assist with an appropriate alternative date or equivalent experience.

The Partner must not request an unadvertised surcharge from a customer. Optional purchases are permitted only where they are clearly optional and do not reduce the advertised experience.

Partner terms — 6. Customer amendments and cancellations

Customer amendments, cancellations and refunds are handled under the Blue Paphos Cancellation Policy and the conditions displayed on the relevant experience at the time of booking. The Partner must respect confirmed amendments communicated through the platform.

Where weather, sea conditions, access restrictions, mechanical failure or another safety issue prevents operation, the Partner must notify Blue Paphos promptly and offer the customer a suitable alternative date or confirm cancellation so that eligible online payments can be refunded.

A Partner must not cancel a confirmed booking merely to accept a higher-value direct booking. Repeated avoidable cancellations, inaccurate availability or failure to honour bookings may lead to suspension or termination.

Partner terms — 7. Safety and participant welfare

The Partner retains sole operational authority and responsibility for safely delivering each experience. This includes suitable staffing, risk assessment, safety briefings, maintained equipment and compliance with applicable health and safety requirements.

The Partner may refuse or end participation where reasonably necessary because of unsafe weather, intoxication, abusive behaviour, an undisclosed health risk, failure to follow safety instructions or a genuine age, weight, fitness or licensing restriction.

Any accident, serious complaint, regulatory investigation or other material incident involving a Blue Paphos customer must be reported to Blue Paphos without undue delay, together with accurate information reasonably required to assist the customer and investigate the matter.

Partner terms — 8. Customer information and confidentiality

Customer information supplied through the platform may be used only to administer and deliver the relevant booking, meet legal duties and communicate essential service information. It must not be added to unrelated marketing lists or shared except where legally required or necessary to deliver the experience.

The Partner must protect account credentials, personal information and confidential commercial information, and promptly report any suspected unauthorised access or loss.

Partner terms — 9. Suspension and termination

Either party may end the commercial relationship by written notice. Existing confirmed bookings must still be honoured unless Blue Paphos agrees otherwise in writing and affected customers are properly protected.

Blue Paphos may immediately pause listings or suspend access where there is a safety concern, expired licence or insurance, suspected fraud, serious customer harm, misuse of customer data, repeated booking failures or a material breach of these terms.

Partner terms — 10. Liability

The Partner is responsible for its acts and omissions and for those of its staff, contractors and suppliers in operating an experience. The Partner will be responsible for substantiated losses, claims or costs caused by its breach of these terms, negligence or unlawful conduct.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Partner terms — 11. Changes to these terms

Blue Paphos may update these terms where reasonably necessary for legal, operational or commercial reasons. Material changes will be communicated to the Partner before they take effect. Continued use of the Partner Portal after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Partner terms — 12. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Cyprus. The courts of Cyprus have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes that cannot be resolved directly. Questions or formal notices should be sent to info@bluepaphos.com.

Partners should obtain independent legal, tax and insurance advice appropriate to their business and activities.

Host terms & conditions

These terms apply to accommodation providers and local referrers using Blue Paphos QR materials.

Host terms — 1. The Host programme

Blue Paphos Experiences provides approved Airbnb hosts, villa managers, hotels, concierges and other accommodation providers with a unique QR code or referral link for introducing guests to experiences available through Blue Paphos.

Joining the programme does not guarantee any minimum number of bookings, commission or income. A Host account and its QR code become active only after approval by Blue Paphos.

Host terms — 2. Independent status

The Host acts as an independent referrer and is not an employee, agent, franchisee or representative authorised to enter contracts, collect customer payments, make promises or accept liability on behalf of Blue Paphos or an experience provider.

The Host is responsible for its own business registrations, permissions, tax declarations, social insurance and other obligations arising from commission income under Cypriot law or any other applicable law.

Host terms — 3. Qualifying bookings and attribution

A booking qualifies for Host commission only when it is correctly attributed to the Host's unique QR code or referral link by the Blue Paphos booking system and the customer completes the booked experience.

Bookings may appear in the Host Dashboard after successful attribution. The platform's booking and payment records determine attribution where there is a discrepancy, subject to correction of a clear technical or administrative error.

Cancelled, refunded, fraudulent, test, duplicate, chargeback or otherwise unpaid bookings do not earn commission. If commission has already been credited or paid for such a booking, Blue Paphos may deduct the corresponding amount from a future payout after providing an explanation.

Host terms — 4. Commission

The Host earns the commission rate separately agreed with Blue Paphos and shown in the Host Dashboard or written commercial agreement. No commission is payable on bookings that are not attributed to the Host or do not satisfy these terms.

Blue Paphos may change the commission rate for future bookings by giving reasonable notice. A changed rate does not apply retrospectively to an eligible booking already confirmed under the previous rate.

Host terms — 5. Payouts

Eligible commission is paid to the payout account supplied by the Host, such as a Revolut tag or link or a Cyprus or SEPA IBAN. The Host is responsible for keeping its account holder name and payout information complete and accurate.

Payouts are normally processed monthly by the fifth day of the following month for eligible experiences completed during the preceding month. Bank, payment-provider, weekend, public-holiday and compliance delays may affect the date funds arrive.

Blue Paphos may hold a payout while required information is missing, a booking is under refund or chargeback review, fraud is reasonably suspected, or payment would breach a legal obligation. Undisputed eligible amounts will be released once the relevant issue is resolved.

Host terms — 6. Permitted promotion

The Host may display approved QR flyers and promotional materials inside accommodation it owns or manages, at an authorised reception or concierge area, in welcome books and in digital guest information sent to genuine guests.

The Host must use current materials supplied or approved by Blue Paphos and must not alter a QR code, publish misleading prices or availability, make unsupported claims, imitate Blue Paphos branding, or suggest that the Host operates the experiences.

The Host must not distribute unsolicited messages, place materials on public or third-party property without permission, bid on Blue Paphos brand advertising terms, or use deceptive, coercive or unlawful promotion.

Host terms — 7. Customer relationships and data

Customers book through Blue Paphos and the relevant independent experience provider. The Host must direct booking, payment, amendment, cancellation and service questions to Blue Paphos and must not collect booking payments on our behalf.

The Host must not copy, retain or use customer personal information obtained through the programme except where independently and lawfully obtained for the Host's accommodation business. Programme information and account access must be kept secure.

Host terms — 8. Prohibited activity

The Host must not create or encourage fake, self-referred, duplicate or manipulated bookings; interfere with another referrer's attribution; misuse discounts; claim commission through deceptive conduct; or use automated or unauthorised methods to generate scans or bookings.

Blue Paphos may investigate unusual activity and request reasonable supporting information. During an investigation, affected commission may be held but unrelated undisputed commission will not be withheld without reason.

Host terms — 9. Suspension and termination

Either party may end participation in the programme by written notice. Blue Paphos may suspend the Host account or deactivate its QR code immediately where fraud, manipulation, unlawful marketing, damage to customers or the Blue Paphos brand, misuse of information, or another material breach is reasonably suspected.

Termination does not remove the Host's entitlement to undisputed commission already earned on eligible completed bookings. Commission connected with fraud, refunds, chargebacks or a breach of these terms is not payable.

Host terms — 10. Liability

Blue Paphos does not guarantee uninterrupted QR tracking, platform availability or a particular level of bookings. Neither party is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss, except where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

Host terms — 11. Changes to these terms

Blue Paphos may update these terms where reasonably necessary for legal, operational or commercial reasons. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect. Continued use of an active Host QR code or the Host Dashboard after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Host terms — 12. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Cyprus. The courts of Cyprus have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes that cannot be resolved directly. Questions or formal notices should be sent to info@bluepaphos.com.

Hosts should obtain independent legal and tax advice appropriate to their circumstances.
