Where the safaris go
The classic route climbs out of Paphos towards Peyia and Coral Bay, then joins the unsurfaced tracks that run north along the Akamas ridge. From up there the whole coastline opens out — Lara Bay, the turtle beaches and, on clear days, the outline of the Troodos range behind you.
Full-day routes continue inland through Kathikas and the wine villages, or east into the Troodos foothills for waterfalls, cedar forest and mountain tavernas. Every itinerary includes at least one swim or photo stop and time to walk a short section on foot.
